4 killed, 3 injured in West Bengal road accident

A heartbreaking accident in Kalimpong, West Bengal, took the lives of four people and left three others injured on Friday night.
The group from Sikkim was heading home from a religious event in Jalpaiguri when their car fell about 100 meters into a gorge near Melli on National Highway 10.

Police investigating cause of accident

The victims have been identified as Kamal Subba (44), Samira Subba (20), Januka Darjee (35), and Nita Gurung (58), all from East Sikkim.
Three survivors—Sunita Thapa (40), Sandria Rai (8), and Samiul Darjee (5)—are receiving treatment after being moved to a hospital in Gangtok.
Police are still investigating what caused the accident.
