Amarnath Yatra registration commences with token distribution

India

Planning to join the iconic Amarnath Yatra this year? The pilgrimage is set for July 3 to August 9, and registration has officially started in Jammu.
Token distribution began June 30, with everything gearing up for a smoother experience.

How to get your token

You can grab your token three days before your chosen date from centers like Vaishnavi Dham or Panchayat Bhawan.
Next up: a quick medical check and biometric verification at Saraswati Dham to get your RFID card.
There's a daily cap of about 15,000 pilgrims total—so plan ahead!

Things to keep in mind

If you're between 13 and 70 years old, healthy, and have both a Compulsory Health Certificate and proof of travel, you're good to go.
The journey starts July 2 from Jammu's Bhagwati Nagar base camp.
Organizers have already tested food, shelter, sanitation, and security setups—including CCTV-monitored convoys—to help make sure everyone stays safe along the way.
