Ammonia leak at Tiruvallur seafood plant kills 16, hospitalizes 19

A serious ammonia gas leak at a seafood plant in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, put 19 women in the hospital.
One is on a ventilator, 10 are getting oxygen, and eight are stable.
A total of 48 people who were affected have been discharged, while 19 women remain hospitalized and 16 others died.

Bodies of 16 women repatriated

Sadly, 16 women from Odisha, Assam, and Jharkhand lost their lives in the incident.
Their bodies have been sent back to their home states: 13 to Odisha, two to Assam, and one to Jharkhand.
