A woman from Andhra Pradesh, who moved to Kuwait for work, has alleged severe physical and mental abuse by her employer. In a video appeal, Kavita from Annamayya district pleaded with Andhra Pradesh Minister Ram Prasad Reddy for help. She said, "Please save me, sir. I am being tortured here. I have two children and a disabled husband. I came to Kuwait for their sake (family), but I am being subjected to injustice here."

Minister Reddy has written to Union Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, seeking his intervention to ensure her safe return to India.
