Army chief warns Pakistan, says ready for 'Operation Sindoor 2.0'
India's Army Chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, has given a clear warning to Pakistan: any "cowardly act" will get a "strong response."
Speaking at Sainik School Rewa, he shared that the armed forces are ready for "Operation Sindoor 2.0."
He also pointed out that in May, India carried out cross-border strikes on terrorist hideouts while making sure not to harm civilians or military areas—sticking to ethical conduct.
'Operation Sindoor 2.0' will see all 3 forces working together
General Dwivedi explained that "Operation Sindoor 2.0" will see the Army, Navy, and Air Force working together as one team.
The earlier May operation was India's answer to the April Pahalgam terrorist attack and focused on destroying terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir—making it clear that India is serious about fighting terrorism while sticking to its values.
