At IIM Raipur convocation, S Jaishankar cites decade of progress
At IIM Raipur's convocation, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar shared why he's feeling hopeful about India's future.
He talked about how India has handled global changes, like tech shifts and new power dynamics, and said the country's positive attitude is rooted in real progress over the last 10 years.
As he put it, "There is an optimism in our society that is lacking in many other parts of the world. Now you could ask, why is that? The last 10 years have been much better, giving rise to the confidence that the next 10 and those beyond will be."
Jaishankar urges self reliance, global partnerships
Jaishankar pointed out that India is now among the world's top five economies and ready to take on challenges at home and abroad.
He emphasized inclusive growth, strong leadership, and embracing digital change.
For him, self-reliance and building up national skills are key to staying resilient, especially with so much uncertainty in the world.
His message: keep strengthening what makes India unique while teaming up with trusted partners globally.
