Audit finds Ram Mandir donations fully tracked; 3300cr accounted for
India
A fresh audit says all ₹3,300 crore collected for the Ram Mandir are fully tracked and accounted for.
Out of this, ₹1,800 crore went to construction and ₹400 crore to buying land, and the rest was accounted for elsewhere: major outlays followed strict financial and banking protocols with zero cash transactions.
Basically, no shady business here.
Donations steady 5cr despite theft arrests
The only hiccup was a cash theft during donation sorting: six external employees hired by Sainik Security Services (SSS), an agency contracted by SBI, were caught on CCTV and arrested. None of them worked for the temple itself.
Despite this, donations are still going strong at around ₹5 crore a month, showing people's support hasn't wavered at all.
