Six boys, who are Class IX students of St. Lawrence School in Bengaluru, have gone missing, sending the parents and police into a tizzy. The students left their homes last evening saying they were going for tuition, but have not returned, police said today. Only one of them was carrying a mobile phone which too has been switched off, they added. Here's more.

Police formed an investigation team
Police, who suspected that the boys might have planned a secret picnic, formed an investigation team. Besides, beat police personnel at railway stations and bus stands has been alerted; also information with pictures of the boys had been sent to all the police stations.
