Bengaluru police have caught two more people linked to the daring November 19 ATM cash van robbery, taking the arrest count to nine.
The suspects stopped the van by pretending to be RBI and Income Tax officers near Ashoka Pillar.
So far, ₹6.55 crore has been recovered, but some of the stolen money is still missing.
Multi-state chase and a suspended cop involved
The investigation now stretches across six states—including Karnataka and Tamil Nadu—with recent arrests made in both Bengaluru and Chennai.
Police say the suspects spent over ₹1 lakh on a new phone and hotel stays while on the run.
Among those arrested is Annappa Naik, a suspended constable, which has added another twist to this high-profile case involving a total theft of ₹7.11 crore.
