Bengaluru: Pilot accused of sexually assaulting crew member

A 26-year-old cabin crew member has accused a pilot of sexually assaulting her during an overnight hotel stay in Bengaluru on November 18, after their chartered flight route from Hyderabad to Puttaparthi, then Chennai, and finally to Bengaluru.
She reported the incident at Hyderabad's Begumpet Police Station once she returned, leading to a Zero FIR that was later sent to Bengaluru police for further action.

Police have recorded the survivor's statement and registered the case under relevant laws.
Inspector P Saidulu shared that, based on her account, the pilot "violated the crew member in the hotel room."
Now, Bengaluru police are taking over the investigation to piece together what happened during that layover.
