Bengaluru teen dies by suicide after drinking with friends: Report

A 15-year-old Bengaluru student died by suicide after allegedly being served alcohol at Legacy Brewing Company pub with classmates in late January.
The boy, worried about facing his parents after drinking, didn't go home that night and was found dead that night after jumping from his apartment building.
Investigation underway
Following a complaint from the boy's father, police booked the pub owner and staff under laws protecting minors.
Investigators confirmed that alcohol was served to underage students based on friends' statements and a visit to the pub.
Police have also recommended canceling the pub's license for failing to prevent minors from drinking.
The investigation will continue once the family returns to Bengaluru.
