Bengaluru teen dies by suicide after harassment from senior: Report

Sana Parveen, a 19-year-old BBA student from Madikeri, died by suicide in Bengaluru on Friday after reportedly facing 10 months of harassment from a former senior at her college.
The accused pressured Sana into a relationship and sent her indecent messages, even after she complained to college authorities.
A complaint was filed by Abdul Nazeer, reportedly her father, and the case is now being investigated as abetment of suicide.

Investigation is on

The former senior, who had already graduated, allegedly visited Sana's college and PG accommodation despite being warned by staff to stop his behavior.
Police have completed Sana's post-mortem and handed her body to her family.
The investigation is ongoing under Section 306 (abetment of suicide).
