    Grant Medical College is among the most-preferred colleges

    Ranked among one of the best in the whole of India, Grant Medical College (GMC) in Mumbai is associated with the highly reputed Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, operating since the early 19th century. The government-sponsored medical college is spread over a sprawling 44 acres, comprising as many as 46 individual buildings. Admissions to the college are done based on NEET scores.

    About the nearly century old Topiwala National Medical College

    Nearly a century old institute, the Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, is a top choice among students from not only Mumbai but throughout India. The 1300-bedded BYL Nair Charitable Hospital serves as the associated clinical teaching hospital. Scores of NEET and MH-CET are accepted for admissions in the coveted government college.

    Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College provides excellent medical training

    The King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital and Seth GS Medical College in Mumbai are among India's crème de la crème, in terms of excellence in medical education and professional medical training and practice. The renowned medical school offers various UG, PG, and super-specialty courses to its large student base of more than 2,000. Admissions to the five-year MBBS course is done through NEET exam.

    Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, another top choice among students

    The 1964-established Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC), affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is a top choice among students in and out of Mumbai. The centrally located college and hospital is known for its specialization in trauma treatment and is one of the best in Asia. Admissions to the five-year MBBS program are sought on the basis of scores in NEET.

    KJ Somaiya Medical College and Research Center, Mumbai

    Located in the heart of the city, the KJ Somaiya Medical College and Research Center, under the aegis of the Somaiya Vidyavihar set up by Padmabhushan Late KJ Somaiya, came into being in 1991 and has been a success story ever since. The college was ranked 18th by India Today in 2017. Admissions to the five-year MBBS-course are made based on NEET scores.
