BJP councillor's son involved in fatal Gwalior accident

In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Harsh Rai—the son of a BJP councillor—was arrested for allegedly running over two women with his SUV near Motijheel on Saturday night.
The victims, 55-year-old Gora Devi and her 35-year-old daughter Gauri Kushwaha, died at the scene while the vehicle sped away.

Police used CCTV footage to identify Harsh as the driver.
When questioned, he tried to shift blame onto a friend and attempted to hide the SUV.
Both he and his friend are now in custody for causing death by negligence and trying to destroy evidence.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities confirming they've recovered the vehicle despite efforts to conceal it.
