Blast near Delhi Metro station; 8 dead, several injured

A major explosion hit near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, leaving eight people dead and at least 24 injured.
The blast happened around 7pm by Gate No. 1, damaging several vehicles and causing chaos in the area.

Police say teams from the NIA and Forensic Science Lab are on the scene, with a multi-agency probe now underway.
Security has been ramped up across Delhi, especially in crowded spots.
