Modi, Murmu to attend Sathya Sai Baba's centenary celebrations
Big names are heading to Sri Sathyasai district as President Droupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi join the centenary celebrations for spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba.
Modi will attend on November 19, and Murmu follows on November 22—just ahead of Baba's actual birthday on November 23.
Even after nearly a century, Sathya Sai Baba's teachings still inspire people worldwide.
Preparations in full swing for the grand event
With huge turnouts expected, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is making sure everything runs smoothly—think organized traffic, medical camps, and plenty of support.
Indian Railways has lined up 65 special trains to Puttaparthi between November 13 and December 1, plus there'll be busses shuttling folks from the station to Prasanthi Nilayam.
The Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation is pitching in too, all to celebrate Baba's lasting legacy.
