Bomb threat emails put Ahmedabad and Surat courts on alert

Bomb threat emails put courts in Ahmedabad and the Surat District Court on high alert this Saturday. Police and bomb squads searched the Surat court, but proceedings went on as usual, a move criticized by the lawyers' association.

Council member Bhavesh Rabari voiced concern, saying, "The accused are not being caught and are directly targeting the justice system," and questioned why no evacuation happened.

Hoax emails hit Gurugram, Bathinda

These threats are not just limited to Gujarat. Recently, Gurugram's Municipal Corporation office and Punjab's Bathinda Court Complex received similar hoax emails.

Gurugram was evacuated and searched; no suspicious object was found.
