BRS MLAs Tata Madhu and Naveen Reddy face bail cancelation
Saifabad police are asking the court to cancel bail for BRS MLCs Tata Madhu and Naveen Reddy, who were arrested on Tuesday under the SC/ST Act.
They are accused of making derogatory comments about Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, following Monday's confrontation between the party's legislators and police at Gate No. 3 of the Telangana Legislative Assembly.
BRS seeks independent CCTV review
The court had initially let them go on bail, but now police have filed a fresh petition to reverse that.
The incident sparked multiple FIRs, arrests, and the suspension of BRS legislators from the Assembly for the remainder of the monsoon session.
BRS leaders are questioning the action and seeking an independent examination of CCTV footage from the Assembly, so this legal battle is still very much alive.
