Calcutta High Court orders probe update on law college rape case

The Calcutta High Court has asked the West Bengal government to share a detailed update on the investigation into the alleged gang rape at South Calcutta Law College.
This follows public interest petitions about the case, which involves a law student and three accused—one former and two current students.
The state needs to submit its report and case diary by July 10.
