Childhood friends arrested for molesting 15-year-old in Tamil Nadu park
A 15-year-old girl in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, was allegedly molested by three people—two of them minors she knew from childhood and a 19-year-old man. The incident happened earlier this week when the group invited her to a park with promises of food and drinks. There, she was reportedly given a drink laced with sedatives, which left her dizzy. She says she was touched inappropriately and pressured into sexual acts but managed to resist.
Case registered, accused in custody
After telling her parents about the ordeal, the girl's family filed a police complaint. The two minors have been sent to a juvenile home while the adult is in judicial custody. Police are still investigating—looking for witnesses and piecing together exactly what happened. For now, they're treating it as a case of sexual molestation since there's no evidence of penetrative assault yet.
