Cold wave, fog, and heavy rain: IMD issues alerts across India
Heads up—IMD has flagged a cold wave for Rajasthan on November 25-26, with minimum temperatures dipping by 2-3°C.
Early mornings could get extra foggy in parts of UP and the Northeast.
Down south, Tamil Nadu is bracing for heavy rain from November 25 to 27, followed by very heavy rainfall from November 28 to 30.
Thunderstorms with gusty winds are also expected around the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Why bother?
This weather mix could mess with travel plans—think flight delays and tough driving conditions thanks to dense fog.
Heavy rains might cause flooding in some southern and eastern areas, so keep an eye out if you're there.
Fishermen have been told to avoid the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea due to rough seas.
The cold snap in Rajasthan is also a bigger deal for anyone sensitive to chilly weather.
