Coldrif syrup banned in Delhi after child deaths: Report

Delhi has just banned Coldrif Syrup after it was found to contain a toxic chemical called Diethylene Glycol.
This move follows a series of child deaths in Madhya Pradesh linked to the syrup.
Officials have told everyone to stop selling or using it, and people are being urged not to take it.

Punjab took similar action earlier

The action comes days after Punjab banned the same syrup, following reports of at least 22 children dying in Madhya Pradesh.
The owner of Srisen Pharma, the company behind Coldrif, is now in police custody as investigations continue.
