Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal's new Temple fitness tracker is facing heat after Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, known as The Liver Doc, called it a "scam."

Deepinder Goyal defends temple on X
Goyal defended Temple on X, saying it's a wellness tracker, not a medical device, so it doesn't need clinical validation.
He pointed out the $30 million investment behind it and its 14-day return policy as signs of credibility.
Goyal also promised independent studies are coming soon and hinted at new features that could change how we track our health.
