Delhi-bound train bomb scare turns out to be a false alarm

India

A bomb scare on the Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Shridham Express at Mathura Junction on Sunday left passengers worried, after reports of a bomb allegedly planted in the general coach.
Thankfully, after a thorough check by security teams, officials found nothing suspicious and the train was cleared to continue its trip to Delhi.

What actually happened

The alert first came from Bhopal, so security checked every station along the route.
When the train reached Mathura around 10am Railway Protection Force and police—with help from a dog squad—searched the coach and luggage but found nothing suspicious.
