UP shivers as cold wave hits, temperatures dip below normal

A cold wave is sweeping through parts of Uttar Pradesh, with the IMD warning that chilly winds from the Himalayas and clear night skies have pushed minimum temperatures 3-6°C below normal in places like Kanpur, Barabanki, and Bareilly.
The state is waking up to foggy mornings and extra layers are quickly becoming a must.

This cold snap is sticking around till November 17, meaning early mornings and late nights will feel especially biting.
The IMD is urging everyone to bundle up and limit time outside when it's coldest.
