Delhi fog: Over 800 flights delayed, 200 canceled; situation grim
Delhi woke up to some serious travel chaos as thick fog brought airport operations to a near standstill.
On December 15, over 800 flights were delayed and more than 200 got canceled at IGI Airport.
The trouble didn't end there—by the next day, another 130 or so flights were scrapped and departures were still running late.
Why does this matter?
If you're flying out of Delhi (or anywhere in northern India), expect major disruptions.
IndiGo had already warned about slowdowns, and even though things started looking better by the afternoon of December 16, delays from earlier are still causing headaches.
With dense fog plus high pollution levels making visibility worse, thousands of travelers have been stranded or forced to reschedule—so double-check your flight status before heading out!
