Delhi Police arrest Rajinder Bairagi wanted for 1998 murder

After nearly 28 years on the run, Delhi Police have caught Rajinder Bairagi, also known as Dr Jhatka, who was wanted for the 1998 murder of a Haryana Police official and several other violent crimes.
He was tracked down in Madhya Pradesh thanks to a multi-state investigation using both fieldwork and technology surveillance.
Lived as Rajinder Singh Yadav
Since escaping police custody in 1999, Bairagi had lived as Rajinder Singh Yadav, working as an unregistered medical practitioner and property dealer in Mungaoli.
He married an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) at a government hospital in Mungaoli, raised two kids, and managed to stay off the radar while all while police kept searching for him.
