Delhi terror plot: 3,000kg explosives seized; 2 suspects arrested

India

A major terror plan targeting Delhi has been stopped just in time by Jammu and Kashmir Police.
A Faridabad-based group was gearing up for multiple bomb blasts, collecting a massive 3,000kg of explosive materials.
The attacks were first planned for August but got pushed to December—thankfully, police stepped in before anything could happen.

Investigation started after posters of banned terror group appeared

During the raids, police found hundreds of kilos of explosives at Dr. Muzzammil's place and over 2,500kg at Hafeez Mohammad Ishtiyaq's home—though Ishtiyaq is still on the run.
The investigation started back in October after some posters praising a banned terror group popped up in Srinagar.
Turns out, this plot is linked to an even larger network involving more suspects, including some academicians that authorities are still tracking down.
