Delhi's air quality improves, but still not great
India
Delhi's air has shifted from "severe" to just "very poor," with the AQI dropping to 349 on Wednesday morning (down from 412 on Tuesday).
Almost every monitoring station in the city and nearby NCR is still reporting unhealthy air, though it's a slight step in the right direction.
Why does this matter?
Breathing in "very poor" air for long stretches can mess with your lungs and cause health issues, especially if you're outside a lot.
Some spots like Nehru Nagar and Mundka had some of the worst readings, while Mandir Marg was a bit better.
On top of that, thick fog is expected all weekâso visibility will be low and travel could get delayed.
If you can, try to stay indoors until things clear up!
