Delhi's air quality improves slightly, but smog still thick
India
Delhi's air quality got a tiny bit better on Friday, with the AQI dipping just below the 'severe' mark to 399.
After three straight days of extreme pollution, things are now in the 'very poor' zoneābut thick smog is still making it tough to breathe easy.
Stubble burning impact drops to 12%
Air quality varied a lot across the city. Places like DTU saw lower AQI levels at 270 ('poor'), while spots like Wazirpur and Chandni Chowk were hit hard with numbers above 445 ('severe').
Experts say weak winds and an inversion layer trapped pollution near the ground.
Stubble burning also played a part, though its impact dropped from 22% earlier this week to 12% by November 13.
So, while there's been slight progress, clean air is still a big challenge for Delhi.
