Five IIMs adopt JEE for undergraduate AI and business programs
Big update: Five IIMs, Mumbai, Lucknow, Sambalpur, Bangalore, and Kozhikode, are now using JEE scores to admit students into their new undergraduate programs in AI, Data Science, and Digital Business.
This is a big shift from the usual CAT-based postgraduate management program admissions.
NEP aligned IIM programs, admissions vary
Most of these undergraduate courses are aligned with the NEP framework, so you can exit after one or two years with a certificate or diploma or stay for a full four-year honors degree.
Many of them offer internships starting in the third year, plus scholarships and financial aid.
Admission rules differ: IIM Mumbai uses JEE Main Paper 1 scores for its BS in Digital Science and Business Management program; IIM Lucknow needs JEE Advanced for its B.S. in AI and Business Analytics; Sambalpur looks at JEE Main percentile plus an online interview.
