Flash floods devastate Himachal Pradesh, rescue operations ongoing

Severe monsoon rains have battered Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh, leading to at least 10 deaths and 34 people missing after a series of cloudbursts and flash floods.
The IMD recorded record rainfall—over 250mm since Monday evening—and has issued orange and yellow alerts for several districts till July 5.
