Fortis founder's wife faces forgery, trust breach charges
Aditi Singh, wife of ex-Fortis promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, has been hit with serious charges—Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing filed an FIR against her.
She's accused of criminal breach of trust and forging key documents to take control of the Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Charitable Society, which runs a major Fortis hospital in Vasant Kunj.
What sparked the case?
Japna Singh, wife of another Fortis co-founder, says Aditi used fake resignation letters to illegally remove her from the society.
The group manages assets worth around ₹500 crore and brings in ₹30 crore a year.
A forensic audit flagged discrepancies, missing meeting records and a six-year gap in meeting documentation (2018-2024), and the FIR/allegations refer to suspected unauthorized transactions that require further investigation.
The EOW is expected to examine the society's bank accounts and past dealings—adding more drama to the ongoing legal troubles in recent years.
