Forum Mall PVR INOX juice counter shut after Instagram clip
A juice counter at PVR INOX in Bengaluru's Forum Mall got shut down after an Instagram clip drew criticism over alleged cup reuse.
The clip, posted by Instagram user Mithil Kumar on November 5, sparked public concern and led to a food safety inspection.
Officials confirmed the violation and ordered the juice counter to stop operations.
UT Khader urges reporting, forum apologizes
Health Minister UT Khader reminded businesses to stick to food safety rules and encouraged people to report unhygienic practices using the Food Safety QR code, promising that complaints will be taken seriously.
While PVR INOX hasn't commented yet, Forum South Bengaluru apologized for what happened and said the PVR team is currently investigating the matter, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure this is addressed.
