Ghaziabad's air quality reached a worrying 'severe' level, with an AQI of 419 on Sunday, and remained the most polluted city in India on Monday with an AQI of 401.
PM2.5 particles are the main culprit, and monitoring stations across Indirapuram, Loni, and Sanjay Nagar are all reporting dangerously high numbers.

It's not just Ghaziabad—air in Greater Noida and Noida is also in rough shape, with AQI readings at 390 and 358.
Traffic jams, dusty roads, and garbage burning are making things worse for everyone nearby as officials ramp up efforts to tackle the crisis.
