Government unveils 23-point plan to make India developed by 2047
The government just rolled out a big 23-point action plan to turn India into a "developed nation" by 2047.
Announced after PM Modi's meeting with top officials, the idea is to get everyone, from ministries to universities, working together on things like better governance, technology, education, and agriculture.
Plan boosts youth education, agriculture, sports
There's a strong focus on youth: more university programs, tackling drug abuse with the My Bharat campaign, and boosting sports talent for the 2036 Olympics.
The plan also pushes for practical skills, like adding vocational courses in schools and updating ITI training, to help students land better jobs.
On the agriculture side, courses will be made more relevant locally and there'll be support for crop diversity, with irrigation expansion for crop diversification.
Ministries to coordinate, use Indian tools
The plan encourages using Indian digital tools (think Zoho) to keep data safe and reduce dependence on outside consultants.
Ministries are expected to team up more closely so that all these changes actually stick and help shape India's future together.
