Gurugram man attacked after feeding chicken momos to cow

In Gurugram, 28-year-old Ritik Chandna was assaulted by a group after he live-streamed himself feeding leftover chicken momos to a cow at HUDA Market on December 7.
The video quickly angered local Hindu groups, who said he had hurt religious sentiments.

Mob hands Chandna to police; social media stunt revealed

Members of the Bajrang Dal tracked Chandna down, reportedly beat him up, and paraded him before handing him over to the police.
He admitted filming the act for social media and said he was paid ₹3,000 for it, claiming he was 'brainwashed' by people online and acted in the 'flow' of the moment.
Police registered an FIR against him and released him on bail, while continuing their investigation into why he did it and who paid him.
