Heavy rainfall predicted across Indian states
Heads up: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says heavy to very heavy rain is on the way for Northwest India, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa until June 26.
Some spots in Gujarat (June 22) and Madhya Pradesh (June 23-24) could see even more extreme downpours.
Expect possible flooding, waterlogging, and travel delays in these areas.
Northeast, South India also getting drenched
With the southwest monsoon quickly moving across North India—including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and more—many regions are already seeing intense showers.
Northeast states will also get soaked through June 25.
Plus, strong winds up to 60km/h are expected in parts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
So if you're out or have plans outdoors—or your area is prone to waterlogging—it's a good idea to stay alert and plan ahead.
