Himachal to see dry weather until October 3

Heads up if you're in Himachal Pradesh—IMD says the weather will stay dry until October 3, with daytime temperatures climbing by 2-3°C.
Nights should feel about the same.
If you're hoping for rain, you might catch some light showers on October 4, which could cool things off a bit.

What about the monsoon?

The southwest monsoon withdrew from Himachal on September 26, but the official monsoon season ends on September 30, after arriving on June 20 and covering the state entirely by June 24.
This season brought a whopping 1,023mm of rain—about 40% more than usual.
Shimla and Kullu districts saw especially big surges, with rainfall nearly doubling their normal totals.
