Himachal woman dies after 14-year-old boy attacks her

A 40-year-old woman from Himachal Pradesh lost her life in a Chandigarh hospital after being attacked by a 14-year-old boy while she was cutting grass in her village.
The boy tried to sexually assault her, and when she resisted, he brutally attacked her with a stick and a sickle.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter

Villagers found her badly injured and quickly called the police. She was first treated locally, then moved to PGI Chandigarh due to serious injuries, but sadly didn't survive.
Police collected evidence at the scene and arrested the Class 9 student, who confessed during questioning.
A case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to ensure justice for the victim and her family.
