    The summer has hit the top gear! Among other problems, the dry and warm season is a virtual invitation to a number of skin health issues like acne, oily skin, sunburn etc. However, with a healthy diet and lifestyle, you can keep risk of these problems at bay. Here are some common summer skin issues, and easy home remedies to cure them.

    Acne breakouts

    During summers, we usually sweat a lot. And when sweat mixes with bacteria and oils in your skin, it can clog pores, thus leading to acne. To deal with this, wash your face from to time, to wash away the oil from skin. Also, avoid using sweaty handkerchiefs and towels repeatedly. You can also try a natural face mask to keep your skin healthy.

    Oily skin and sunburn

    Oily skin: The harmful UV rays and unbearable heat may make your skin oily. This could lead to pimples. To get rid of oily skin, you may apply natural remedies like cold milk, egg whites, and aloe vera. Sunburn: Sunburn is a common skin issue in summers. To deal with it, natural home remedies like cold milk, curd, and cucumbers can help.

    Body odor and fungal infections

    Body odor: Due to excessive sweating, many people suffer from body odor during summertime. To cure this, drink plenty of water, take baths often, and use talcum powder. Fungal infections: The heat might also induce fungal infections in skin. To avoid risk of such infections, get rid of sweaty clothes, and use sweat-absorbent powder. Also, take bath from time to time.

    Other handy tips

    Here are some more handy tips to stay healthy this summer season: 1) Eat a healthy and balanced diet, including water content-filled food items such as cucumbers, berries, tomatoes. Reduce alcohol intake. 2) Drink plenty of water and hydrating drinks like coconut water, lemon juice etc. 3) Apply sunscreen every time you go out. 4) Always use protective eyegear like sunglasses while heading out.
