    What's the story

A 23-year-old woman riding pillion on a two-wheeler died following a road accident in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The incident occurred around 7:30 am when the deceased, G Kavya, was on her way to appear for the Railway Recruitment Board exam. Her brother Shiva Sai, who was driving the two-wheeler, was also injured during the incident.

    Here are more details.

On Saturday morning, Sai and Kavya were headed to the exam center they were both supposed to appear for when the former tried overtaking a private bus from the left near Nalgonda crossroads, The News Minute reported.

While a parked autorickshaw ahead might have forced Sai to slam the brakes, a patch of loose gravel on the road caused the two-wheeler to skid.
