Hyderabad: Men booked for pushing senior citizen during metro ride

India

At Lakdikapul Metro Station in Hyderabad, three men were arrested for pushing a 62-year-old advocate, G Krishna Kishore, onto the platform.
The trouble started when Kishore asked them to vacate seats reserved for seniors during his evening commute on October 21.
Instead of moving, the men—Sivvala Sunil Kumar, Sivvala Rajesh, and Kalishetti Ashok—allegedly hurled abuses and behaved aggressively.
The altercation continued until the train reached Lakdikapul.

Accused admitted to sitting in reserved seat, assaulting Kishore

After being asked to move, the trio allegedly hurled insults at Kishore.
When the train stopped at Lakdikapul station, they pushed him onto the platform, leaving him injured.
Police registered an assault case after Kishore filed a complaint.
The accused were picked up on November 3 and admitted to both sitting in reserved seats and physically attacking Kishore.
They've now been sent to judicial custody while police continue their investigation.
