IAF executes overnight organ airlift mission

In an inspiring overnight effort, the Indian Air Force and Armed Forces Medical Services teamed up to fly a liver and two kidneys from Pune to Delhi.
The organs, donated by a brain-dead person, a dependent of a serving soldier, were delivered quickly so they could be transplanted in time.
This mission highlights how the military steps up for critical medical needs—not just defense.

TL;DR

Organ donation is a noble act

It's not every day you see the armed forces saving lives off the battlefield. Their rapid action meant these organs could help multiple people get a second chance.
It's a reminder that behind the uniforms are real people making a difference for families across India.
