IMD forecasts heavy rain across south, dry north central India
India's weather is taking a dramatic turn this Saturday.
The IMD says most of north and central India, including Delhi, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh, will see dry conditions.
Delhi will see mainly clear skies and dry conditions.
But if you're in the south, get ready for heavy rain and thunderstorms linked to a trough in easterly winds extending from the southeast Arabian Sea, adjoining Kerala, toward south interior Karnataka.
Delhi 27-29C days, 15-17C nights
Delhi can look forward to sunny days with mild temperatures (27 to 29 Celsius) and cool nights (15 to 17 Celsius), though mornings might be a bit foggy.
Meanwhile, places like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, and Lakshadweep should brace for intense showers through November 8.
Elsewhere, like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands or parts of the northeast, scattered rain is possible, but for most of India it's going to stay pretty dry.
