IMD issues red alert for Tamil Nadu: Heavy rain and storms ahead
Heads up, Tamil Nadu—IMD has put out a red alert as the state braces for intense rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning through November 30, with thunderstorms and lightning expected till December 1.
Some areas could see storms continue right into December.
Kerala and Andhra Pradesh are also on watch, with lighter rain expected in parts of both states.
North shivers as temperatures drop and fog rolls in
Up north, it's a different kind of weather drama. Punjab is facing a cold wave alert this week, while thick fog is set to blanket Delhi, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh until November 30.
Temperatures have dipped below 6°C in places like Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh—Hisar even hit 5.7°C!
Meanwhile, Karnataka could see thunderstorms soon, and coastal Andhra Pradesh isn't done with the rain just yet.
