IMD issues weather alerts across India

Heads up if you're in Shimla or Pune—IMD has put out an orange alert for heavy rain today. Several other states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand could also see some serious showers.
Meanwhile, Delhi will stay mostly cloudy with a bit of rain and highs around 33-35°C.

In Himachal Pradesh, Mandi and Kangra join Shimla on orange alert, while Chamba and Kullu have a yellow warning.
Over in Maharashtra, Satara and Kolhapur are also on orange alert with Raigad and Nashik at yellow.
Mumbai is set for steady rainfall (think 31°C max), and nearby Konkan-Goa regions can expect similar weather.
Punjab's Gurdaspur and Haryana's Karnal might get heavy rain plus thunderstorms too—so keep your umbrellas handy!
