India's new 300-km range Pinaka missile system
India's defense game is about to level up with new Pinaka rocket launcher systems on the way.
These next-gen launchers—being built by DRDO—can fire 12 rockets in just 44 seconds and will come in two versions, reaching up to 120km and a massive 300km.
According to DRDO chief Dr. Samir V Kamat, these powerful systems should join the Indian Army within three to five years.
Pinaka system is crucial to India's military strategy
Pinaka isn't just any missile system—it's a core part of India's defense strategy.
Designed in Pune, it features advanced navigation and control tech, with earlier versions already serving ranges from 40km to 90km.
The system can launch missiles super quickly and move out fast after firing, keeping troops safer and giving India a real edge on the battlefield.
