5G boom and data habits

5G subscriptions have soared to almost 400 million, powered by more than half a million cell sites.
People are using more data than ever—averaging 36GB each month, with that number expected to nearly double by 2031.

Exports and security get a boost

Telecom exports jumped by 72% since FY21, hitting ₹18,406 crore this year.
Operators are also stepping up their game on security with AI tools to fight fraud and spam, while backing new laws for better industry stability and fair access to spectrum.
