    IndiGo bus carrying 50 passengers catches fire at Chennai airport

    A bus belonging to IndiGo airline caught fire at the airport in Chennai, Tamil Nadu while ferrying passengers of a domestic inbound flight, according to airport officials. No one was injured in the incident which took place yesterday as the fire was doused immediately, they said. The bus caught fire when it was nearing the arrival point with about 50 passengers on board.

    The bus suffered minimal damage

    The preliminary assessment indicated "not much damage" either to the interiors or exteriors of the bus, the airport officials said. Authorities are looking into the incident. Last year, another IndiGo passenger bus caught fire at Chennai airport. No passengers were on board during the incident.
